• A Tritium Veefil fast electric car charger, improving the convenience of driving an electric vehicle and reducing charging time to just 30 minutes. We are the first master-planned community in Australia to install this type of charger and it’s already proving very popular with locals and visitors.

• Creating a place for jobs with ‘The Exchange’ skilling, training and employment hub focused on local jobs for local people, with close to 700 job seekers having successfully been placed in employment in the first two years of operations. This translated into a conversion rate (registrations to placements) of 35% versus circa 10% industry standard.

• Native seed collection program harvesting seeds from locally threatened or rare tree and bush species, for propagation and planting across Yarrabilba’s open space corridors.

• Delivering digital infrastructure (fibre, wi-fi, mobile) supporting current trials of various technologies for future smart community innovations creating a more connected community.

• Partnerships with more than ten social enterprises bringing an active and inclusive community to life, with ongoing events and services including cafés, employment programs, markets, residential dwellings and waste collection programs.
