The Heartland Flyer runs two daily trains–one each way–between Oklahoma City and Fort Worth, Texas. Each train consists of two Hi-Level coaches and one Superliner snack/coach. On the lower level you’ll find amenities such as accessible seating areas for people with special mobility requirements, restrooms and bike racks. All station faci lities are fully accessible to persons who use wheelchairs.

The McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System, a 445-mile waterway, links Oklahoma and the surrounding five-states with ports on the nation’s 12,000-mile inland waterway system. Other foreign and domestic ports are in reach via New Orleans and the Gulf Intracostal Waterway.

The Port of Muskogee in the northeast corner of the city is one of several other ports that are becoming a more vital part of the transport and shipping industry in Oklahoma. The service operates with limited stops over fixed routes connecting two or more urban areas not in close proximity, has the capacity for transporting baggage carried by passengers and tries to make meaningful connections with scheduled intercity bus service to more distant points, if such service is available.
Feeder bus service is the provision of service which acts as a feeder to intercity bus service andincludes the coordination of rural connections between small transit operations and intercity buscarriers.
