The China-Taiwan Fellowship at the University of Central Florida Fellowship Award: $500.00 The China-Taiwan Cross-Strait Program at UCF (supported by the C.T. and Jean Hsu Fund of the Global Connections Foundation), the Global Perspectives Office at UCF and the Global Connections Foundation are pleased to provide an opportunity for an outstanding UCF student, undergraduate (at least junior level) or graduate, to serve as a China-Taiwan Fellow each Spring semester. The selected student works on a research project related to China-Taiwan cross-strait issues under the direction of staff and scholars from The China-Taiwan Cross-Strait Program and the Global Perspectives Office. In addition, China-Taiwan Fellows will contribute to the activities of the Global Perspectives Office and affiliated programs. The weekly time commitment is approximately ten hours. China-Taiwan Fellows will receive $500.00 for the semester. Students aspiring to become China-Taiwan Fellows should have a minimum GPA of 3.5. A board of reviewers drawn from UCF and the community evaluates applications and makes selections. Two letters of reference, a one-page personal statement, a 5-10 page writing sample, an unofficial transcript and a resume are required. NOTE: Students cannot receive course credit for fellowship positions.
