Even though the software already existed, transitioning it to a completely different technology stack had its share of challenges.

First, Skyrise was assigned to evaluate the system to see if the end result could even be achieved.

It wasn’t a straightforward investigation with a black-and-white solution, which required

consideration for many different functionalities and customizations.

Another major consideration during the project was the design itself. At the time, ABAX didn’t

have a dedicated UX designer, so Skyrise helped to facilitate the user experience, including

selecting the best mobile technology solutions.

The two teams worked together to weigh the pros and cons of all possible solutions, from responsive web design to hybrid apps to native apps.

Soon, it was discovered that a complete rewrite simply wasn’t possible because of the depth and breadth of the project.

With all of the above in mind, Skyrise worked with ABAX to identify the most important values

that should be provided and prioritize the work in a way that would allow them to launch the

system as soon as possible.

They knew ABAX wanted to get the product to market quickly, which was a major motivation in buying an existing technology rather than starting from scratch.

Like any industry leader, ABAX proactively seeks out opportunities to diversify and expand their portfolio, and decided to add a project management system to their already powerful suite of software.
