God is faithful to His promises! Here at CfC we experience His trustworthiness daily as we depend on the Lord for each and every need. In times of great challenge and uncertainty we can only testify of His peace in our hearts. The last few months we have had to face many uncertainties both physically and financially. Our area is suffering a water crisis due to a failure by local government to maintain the infrastructure. Pray with us for a resolution to these challenges.

May you experience God’s sustaining power as you lean on His promises. Thank God for His Word that brings encouragement and comfort in our times of need.

SKILLS4LIFE WITH A DIFFERENCE!

At the start of our last Skills Program we were approached by a Special Needs School in Ixopo to assist them in the final preparation of their school leavers. End of May saw the arrival of 7 young men, aged 17 to 21, for a three-week stint at CfC.

Apart from learning Cooking and Baking from Cecile, Zama is teaching the Life Training Course, while Marius is involved in orientating them to Basic Computer and Gardening skills. To top it all, Zama and Zanele act as their parents whilst they reside here at Silver Oaks. Although challenging at times, due to their hampered capacity to learn,

we believe that God has placed them here for the purpose of experiencing and learning about His love and plan for their lives. Please pray with us for these young men, trusting that they will meet Jesus as Saviour. Pray also that our work with them will prepare them for their future.

The April-May group was once again a blessing. Only Computers and Sewing were taught. We felt a bit disappointed, but the Lord knew that the boys from Daniel Mzamo would be here.

A big THANK YOU to Priscilla Peel who assisted with Sewing, as well as Nico & Alma Leonard, with Zama Zoko, for presenting the Life Training Curriculum.

Praise God for these special people who sacrifice time and talents to equip others!
