On Sunday, June 23, you can pick up your workshop materials from 5:30-7:00 p.m. (CDT) at Gary Ransdell Hall. Workshops will meet from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Monday through Thursday and from 8:30 a.m. to

12:30 p.m. on Friday. Individuals attending the 30 hours of training will receive a certificate of participation verifying completion of a College Board Endorsed Advanced Placement Institute. CEUs will be available for interested participants.

To reserve space in a workshop, complete both pages of the application, and send the application and the $100 nonrefundable deposit to The Center for Gifted Studies. Registration is also available online at www.wku.edu/

gifted. The balance of the registration fee is due on or before arrival at the workshop.

The $600 registration fee for each of the workshops covers the cost

of instruction, College Board Advanced Placement packets, and other training materials. The registration fee does not include the cost of housing, meals, or airport transportation.

Accommodations will be available with single rooms in an air-conditioned residence hall, each room with a private bath. The cost of

the residence hall is $40 per night for a single room. Plan to bring towels, bed linens, a pillow, and a telephone. No children can be accommodated in the residence hall. To reserve a room, please complete the Housing Information section of the application. Individuals preferring to stay in a hotel may choose from hotels listed on our website. The Hilton Garden Inn, Holiday Inn University Plaza, and Staybridge Suites have each reserved a block of rooms.

Due to the busy schedule, you may find it most convenient to eat lunch on campus. In the mornings and evenings, you may eat on campus or at restaurants in Bowling Green.

There are good choices within a short walk from campus. Information about on-campus dining facilities and restaurants in town will be available when you pick up your workshop materials.

If you plan to fly, you should make reservations to Nashville, TN, the closest airport. If you will need transportation from the airport on June 23 and to the airport on June 28, please complete the Airport

Transportation Request on the application.
