Your Numbers

Learning to nd your important numbers is almost as easy as looking up your Zodiac Sign. Most of the techniques of Astro-Numerology, including many of those concerning relationships, depend on your Birthday Number. The Birthday Number is simply the day of the month on which you were born, added together. In other words, if you were born on March 13th, (1+3 = 4) your birthday number is 4.

There are special rules in Numerology for doubled numbers, which are also known as Master Numbers. The Master Numbers concerned with the Birthday are 11 and 22, so if you are born on the 11th, 29th, or 22nd of the month, your birthday number is a Master Number. But it is important to know that while these Master Numbers hold special meanings in the Numerology Chart, in the classical methods of Astro-Numerology, they are used in their reduced form, so 11 becomes 1+1 = 2, and 22 becomes 2+2 = 4.

You should also know how to calculate your Life Path and Expression numbers, because they are so important to understanding something about Numerology in general.

Your Life Path is calculated by summing the month, day and year of birth. For a person born on the 12th of September, 1984, the calculation is as follows: The Twelfth = 12

September = 09

Sub-total = 21

Plus year = 1984

Life Path = 2005; 2+0+0+5 = 7 So this person has a Life Path number of 7.

Your Expression requires that you convert the letters of the name to numbers. Your full name at birth is used for this purpose. The Modern Scale is the most common scale for number conversion used with the English language. Most Numerology books use it as a standard method, and as you learn more about Numerology, you will nd that it has a few special usages not found in the older Chaldean system.

When you convert your name into its numeric value, make sure that you allow for the Master Numbers to count, if they are the total. Master Numbers are any two place numbers that have the same digits, or any multiples of 11, such as 11, 22 and 33.
