Errata, Volume 34 Winter 2011 –2012, p. 298, U.S. Senator Carter Glass (D., Va.) served as secretary of the treasury under President Woodrow Wilson, but he did not hold that office during Franklin D. Roosevelt’s administration—he actually declined that appointment. Glass chaired the House Committee on Banking and Currency, cosponsored the Federal Reserve Act in 1913, entered the Senate in 1920, and cosponsored the Glass–Steagall Act in 1933.
