This year is our first chance to be creative with our theme, and it is also the chance for us to shine as a business.
This is because Bedale is holding a Christmas Window Competition for all
the local businesses in the town. The friendly competition is sponsored by “Lifetime Windows”, ahead of the Bedale Winter Festival, to be held on the 3rd of December. The public event is open to all, and is open 10am until 5pm. This Christmas really will be the season to visit Bedale and see what we have to offer!
So here at The Bridge Gallery, we have put our skills to use, and have designed a traditional but contemporary setting…that will hopefully get you all in the Christmas mood!
We wanted to create a homely looking window space.. So a traditional setting of a fireplace and Christmas decorations the type of 'set-up' you would see in most homes) was created..
We also wanted to include a lot of present ideas, and hand crafted items by our Artists... like decorations and stockings! We were lucky enough to receive some fantastic hand painted baubles recently... See photo (left)

So in our smallest window, we decided to display the bau-bles hanging... all grouped together, as if they were falling like snow.
To add that extra Christmas vibe, we used snow 'spray' on the windows.... in fact, we went a bit mental with the spray!
We're thrilled with the end result so far.. Harrods here we come! We even made a small snowman. Just for fun... I hope you've enjoyed our article about our Christmas window. Do you feel all festive yet? Let us know what you think of our window
