@ Last week we were getting ready to go out of town for a long weekend and I had skipped lunch so I was seriously hungry, but didn’t want to be out long so we decided to try one of our favorite lunch spots for din- ner, The Bread Co. I don’t have to tell you that there is no better spot in town for lunch, but I have to admit I was surprised to see that so many people were nighttime Bread Co. diners. If you haven’t been there in a while they have the inviting fireplace with the corner fitted with couches, chairs, and magazines. We both noted there we more people who were using the couches at night than we remembered when we have been in for lunch. One thing I like about The Bread Co. is the entire restaurant is open, and bright. It just sort of puts you in a good energetic mood. While The Bread Co. serves you from a counter there were several Bread Co. staff members circulating around, and most all of the were cheerful and said hello. In fact after we ordered we took our buzzer and sat down, and the moment it went off someone brought our dinner out without us even getting up. One thing I almost forgot to mention was that they have recently changed their background music to contemporary Christian music, nice move! For dinner I had the southwest chicken wrap, where my husband had the grilled chicken salad. They were both big enough to fill us up and really hit the spot. As always The Bread Co. of- fers great portions of food and the price doesn’t empty the wallet. We both ate, and had large drinks that we filled up to go for under $20. That brings me to one of my favorite things about The Bread Co. THE SWEET TEA. We love the tea at The Bread CO., and always get the big ones and fill them up before we leave so we have something to sip for the next few hours. We are once a weekers at The Bread Co. for lunch sometimes we forget about having dinner there…not anymore. For breakfast, morning coffee, lunch, afternoon tea, to check your email on their free wifi, or as we have remembered for dinner we love our Bread Co. The Bread Company 1385 N.
