receiving the greatest number of votes by the members shall receive a three year term. Candidates must qualify

I have been a resident of Dillingham for the last five years, and my family consider it our home.

I am currently employed at the Dillingham City School District as the Technology Director. I

have worked in the Technology Field and/or Education Field for the last 15 years in Alaska.

Of all of the candidates you will find, other than current board members, I am the ONLY

individual who has attended and spoken up at the majority of monthly board meetings for the

    last year.

My goals for Nushagak Cooperative are:

-To continue to work towards transitioning to Hydro power.

-To work towards creating an additional microwave loop to allow for minimal user downtime of

    the Internet.

-To facilitate technological progress while keeping rates affordable.

-To promote an excellent level of customer support.

Current board members have different strengths. My strengths are in the area of

understanding board roles, by having served on a school board and actively participating with

the local Dillingham City School District School Board, and the technology industry. I know

these skills, as well as my current role, will be of use for the Internet expansion project already

happening and for future Nushagak Cooperative projects.

I am committed to the Dillingham community and Bristol Bay Region, and I know this

commitment along with my work experience will contribute and be an asset if I am elected to

serve on the Nushagak Cooperative Board.

    Sincerely, Josh Bullock

I would like to express my interest in being considered to retain my seat on the Board of Directors of Nushagak Cooperative. I am a commercial fisherman of 45+ years. I am currently serving as President on my 21st year on the Board of Directors of Nushagak Cooperatives. As a credentialed board member I have and will continue to advocate both on the state and federal level for the Members of Nushagak. In doing so, I have had some success in helping with bringing much needed resources to our cooperatives. It has been a privilege of mine to serve the Members of Nushagak. I also serve on two other Boards, BBNC and American Seafood’s CAB board. I would be greatly honored to commit my time and abilities to the goals that have been set forth by the Board. Regards,

Thank you for participating in your Cooperative by voting! Mailed ballots must be received by noon on

March 27, 2020. If you were unable to vote by mail, you can vote at the Annual Meeting. Registration begins at

6:00 p.m. and closes at 7:00 p.m. Picture ID will be required.

We hope to see you there!

OFFICIAL 2020 NUSHAGAK COOPERATIVE BOARD MEMBER CANDIDATES

My name is Chris Napoli, and I have made Dillingham my home since 1985. I have

had the privilege of serving on the Nushagak Cooperative Board of Directors for

eleven years representing you, the owner member. During that time, we have

continued to improve the internet and cable system and expanded the power plant to

keep electrical service reliable with rates lower than most rural Alaskan communities.

The Cooperative will continue to face challenging times with rising fuel prices coupled

with changes in the regulatory environment. The future regional hydroelectric project

and new microwave project will require experience and training like mine to continue

to provide the price structure and service level you deserve as an owner member of

the Cooperative. I ask you for your continued support to allow me to work on the

issues that continue to challenge your Cooperative.

    Thank you for your support.

    Nushagak Cooperative Members,

My name is Tony Zoch. I’ve lived in Dillingham since May of 2017, am an avid

outdoorsman, and a strong advocate of supporting rural communities. I hold a BBA

degree in Marketing and a BA degree in Anthropology from the University of

Minnesota, Duluth, and am currently the Regional Fisheries Coordinator for BBEDC.

I am running for the Nushagak Cooperative Board of Directors because of my interest

in sustainable, renewable energy, decreasing the region’s carbon footprint, and

obtaining fast and affordable internet with unlimited data capacity. Combating climate

change and providing internet that meets the standards of Coop Owner Members is

of the utmost importance to me. If elected, I will strive to learn every aspect of

Nushagak Cooperative’s current and upcoming projects, and make decisions based

on environmental, science based, and economic factors. I would be absolutely

honored to represent Coop Owner Members on the Nushagak Cooperative Board of

    Directors.
