• We say we believe in God the Father, God the son, and God the Holy Spirit

• We believe that there are THREE Persons in God

• This is the Most Blessed Trinity (the mystery of the three Persons in God)

• What does “tri” mean?

• How are there three beings in God? Who are they?

How is this possible?

• As Catholics, we do not really know, but that’s OKAY.

• There are SO many things in the universe that are so complex and we simply don’t understand them.

• Today we are using a cup of flour, salt, and water to understand the trinity.

meaning we Christians “flavor” the earth by sharing gods word

Water= holy spirit

• A way to describe the three Persons in one God• A communion of persons is a loving union of

two or more persons• Each Divine Person gives Himself totally to the

other two and they love each other perfectly?

What are some forms of communions of persons that we form as Catholics?

• The communion of persons established in a marriage

• The communion of persons when children are brought in to the world

• The communion of persons in the workplace where teachers and students work to achieve a good learning environment for all

• The communion of persons in the church through the sacraments-> baptism brings us in to the family of God.
