thing wonderful has happened not only to Jesus but also to us: we have risen to a new life. Prepared by the Lenten season, we have left behind
our moral miseries and weakness, and have come to share in the new life that Jesus offers to all those who make him Lord of their hearts. Echoing today’s Sequence, we gather to offer thankful praises to the Paschal Victim who is the Prince of Life and
who reigns immortal over sin and death. He is the reason for our joy. He is the source of our peace and our determination to become better Christians.

Emeritus Archbishop Barry Hickey has this month published a new 54-page-book of prayers and scriptural meditations
to encourage Eucharistic Devotion. The book has also been given Nihil Obstat

A very special musical presentation of Mozart’s celebrated masterpiece, ‘Exultate Jubilate’ ushering in the joy of the Easter season. Performed by well-known Perth soprano
Stephanie Gooch accompanied by organ and strings. This leads into the 11am Solemn Sung Mass of Easter
concelebrated by the Archbishop and Cathedral Priests. Music includes an orchestral version of the Easter sequence
for choir, congregation and small chamber orchestra. Also includes Lotti’s ‘Regina Coeli’ in a special arrangement for
choir, 2 soloists and chamber orchestra. Culminates with Handel’s spectacular ‘Hallelujah Chorus’.
