NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE CITY COUNCIL AND PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SEABROOK WILL HOLD A PUBLIC HEARING BY TELECONFERENCE ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 4, 2020 AT 6:00 P.M. DUE TO THE CONTINUED INCREASE IN COVID-19 POSITIVE CASES, THIS PUB-LIC HEARING WILL ONLY BE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC VIA REMOTE ACCESS THAT ALLOWS FOR TWO-WAY COMMUNICATIONS FOR THOSE DESIRING TO PARTICIPATE.

SPECIFIC PUBLIC HEARINGS
1. Request for approval of a Preliminary Planned Unit Development (Preliminary PUD) to create a Seabrook Mixed Use Development comprising of a boutique hotel, extended stay hotel, conference center and ballroom, approximately 25,000 of retail space, and approximately 260 unit luxury multi-family apart-ment complex located on approximately 15.586 acre tract of land.

Box 607, Wimberley, Texas 78676 Legal Description: Being approximately a combined 15.586 acre tract out of the South end of Lot 6-A, Tract 5-A and Tract 4-A of the Repsdorph Partition of the Repsdorph Estate in the Ritson Morris Survey, Abstract No. 52 in Harris County, Texas as recorded in map or plat thereof in Volume 18, Page 63 of the Harris County Map Records, also being out of Lot 1 and Restricted Reserve “A” out of Marker One Addition, as recorded in map or plat thereof in Film Code 513034 of the Harris County Map of Records.

The City of La Porte plans to apply for Community Development Block Grant Disaster Mit-igation (CDBG-MIT) funding from the Texas General Land Office (GLO) and is soliciting proposals to provide administration and/or planning services for CDBG-MIT contract(s).

Proposal Receiving Location: City Hall Information Desk, 604 W. Fairmont Parkway, La Porte, Texas 77571. Sealed submittals must include one original and on digital copy clearly marked with the RFP number and description. Sealed Proposals must be received no later than date and time stated above. The proposals will be opened immediately after the closing hour on said date and only the names of those submitting proposals for consideration will be publicly read.
The City reserves the right to negotiate with any and all individuals or firms that submit proposals and may award more than one contract. Section 3 Residents and Business Con-cerns, Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises and Women Business En-terprises and Labor Surplus Area firms are encouraged to submit proposals. NOTICE TO BIDDERS OF THE INTENTION OF THE CITY SEABROOK OF SEABROOK, TEXAS TO AWARD A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR
REHABILITATION OF FRIENDSHIP PARK ELEVATED WATER STORAGE TANK.
Sealed bids will be received from qualified Contractors addressed to City of Seabrook, 1700 1st St. Seabrook, Texas 77586 (US Mail), or delivered to the physical address 1700 1st St., Seabrook, Texas 77586 until August 18, 2020 at 2 p.m. for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment for the work required for the Rehabilitation of the Elevated Water Stor-age Tank at Friendship Park as prepared by Dunham Engineering, Inc. Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud at the address above at the same time and date. Any bid received after the above closing time will be returned unopened.
The work consists of Rehabilitating Friendship Park Elevated Water Storage Tank lo-cated at 3511 Park Dr., Seabrook, Texas 77586 (see Map(s) in Drawings section).
Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes upon the blank form of proposal furnished. Sealed envelopes shall be marked in the upper left-hand corner as follows:

FRIENDSHIP PARK ELEVATED WATER STORAGE TANK REHABILITATION PROJECT
TO BE OPENED: August 18, 2020 at 2 p.m.
With Bid Submission, all Bidder’s must submit a Bid Bond for an amount equal to no less than 5% of the total price of the project. Upon execution of the Contract, prior to work be-ginning, the Contractor awarded this project will provide a performance and payment bond for 100% of the Contract price. Bids without bid bond will not be considered.
All payment and performance bonds must be issued by a surety licensed by the Texas De-partment of Insurance and must have a minimum Best Key Rating Guide of “A” or “A-”.
The Contract will be awarded to the responsible bidder who, in the opinion of the Owner and Engineer, is best capable of performing the work. The evaluation shall be based on the contractor’s previous work experience, available resources, knowledge of the work and bid price. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any and all infor-malities in bidding.
Plans and specifications are available on QuestCDN. In order to view the project, you must complete the free registration with QuestCDN. Plans and specifications will have a $15.00 download fee, and you will be notified via email should there be any addendum’s published.
Plans and specifications are also available by contacting the Purchasing Coordinator, Ash-ish Patel at [email protected], at no charge to vendors.
Bidders are expected to inspect the site of the work and to inform themselves of local con-ditions, and carefully examine the specifications and other documents. Should the bidder find discrepancies in, or omissions from the specifications or documents, or have a ques-tion regarding their meaning, bidder should at once notify Dunham Engineering and obtain clarification prior to submitting any bid.
The project site of the elevated water storage tank is located at 3511 Park Dr., Seabrook, Texas 77586. See Map(s) in Drawings Section. Contact Kevin Padget at 281-291-5656 to arrange a site visit. The site can be inspected during normal operating hours Monday – Fri-day from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
A pre-bid conference will not be held.
