During these three quasi-simultaneous cruises: a) Radiosoundings (real time GTS => ECMWF, MF…)b) Temp XBT profiles (0-800m) +

Temp/salinity CTD profiles (0-500 or 1000m) (transmitted quasi-real time, at least daily)(e.g CORIOLIS/ARGO & MERCATOR/GODAE)

(radiosoudings at least twice a day from each vessel

=> about 250 profiles)

(XBT profiles every ½° to 1°from Atalante and Ron Brown

=> about 250 profiles)

(CTD profiles every ½°along meridional sections at
