Through a host of services—including teacher and administrator certification, school accreditation, and professional development—the association serves educators in approximately 2,600 U.S. K–12 schools. ACSI NEXUS is a transformative learning community for Christian educators, featuring an annual event and formal online training from respected thought leaders and practitioners. ACSI has been a recognized provider of Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for over 30 years. This document reflects current professional development courses and training that ACSI provides for the 2012/2013 academic year. Participants subscribing to ACSI ConNEXUS Premium have access to over 500 hours of ondemand training, which is fully customizable and scalable to each educator’s professional development needs. The U.S. Department of Education has stated that the content provided through ACSI ConNEXUS Premium meets eligibility requirements for Title II, Part A funding. (View the Department of Education letter here.) This channel demonstrates how teachers combine the science of researchbased instruction with the art of great lesson planning and formative assessment.
