The Teacher Training Course at Ardee is not just a course where you learn to become good Montessori Directress, but it is where you experience a transformation in your entire personality and attitude towards life.

Mrs. Raisinghani & Mrs. Bisht have hugely inspired me and for me learning has never stopped ever since I did my TTC.

I qualified as a Special Educator (RCI) and started working with children with special needs and started applying the Montessori methodology with those children. It is giving us excellent results and many children are

benefiting from this approach because no matter what the age of the child is the basic philosophy of Montessori is simply magical.

Today I have further gone and qualified as a counselling psychologist and I work with people with mental and behavioural disorders. I feel the Montessori approach of believing in human potential helps me in my sessions as a therapist as well. As rightly said once a Montessorian always a Montessorian!!

To understand the relevance and purpose of Montessori Method of education, observation skills of planning, teaching and assessing.

To acquire knowledge regarding the developmental stages and characteristics appropriate to each level.

To understand the needs of each learner, apply the principles of learning in designing the teaching programme.

To prepare and use a variety of Montessori Resources.

To develop attitudes and qualities needed as a professional pre-school teacher.

The Forms are available in The Ardee School, New Friends Colony from March to May.

For Batch 20-21, Forms available online. Candidates applying for the Montessori and Nursery Foundation Course must

appear for assessment (oral & written) after the submission of the filled forms.

The training centre is 21 years old, established in the year 1999. The founder member

Ms. Chanda Raisinghani, an alumni of the London Montessori Centre holds a

certification in Montessori Elementary Course with North American Montessori society.

She has been a member of the National Council of Teacher Education, Govt. of India.

Ms Kumud Bisht, has spearheaded the Montessori Teacher Training Centre for the past

19 years, having joined in year 2001.

Students wishing to start Career as Montessori Teacher: This is an ideal course for students who are interested in Montessori Teaching.

This course is recommended to all experienced teachers of young children who wish to gain insight into the best way to individualize their teaching curriculum, so that children of mixed abilities may work at their own pace.

Teachers should consider this course as an up-gradation, and could implement the Montessori methodology in the conventional schools.

This course helps parents understand the natural laws of growth and self-construction in a child. It is also of great value for future parenthood.

The course is delivered, Theory and Practicum areas - 350 hours, over a period of nine months from July to March.

Regular Observation and Training to all students, Written course work, set throughout the course in the form of tutorials.

The exhaustive, curriculum manuals are prepared, with the guidance of the instructor, to become your life time teacher resource guide.

In March, are exams in both Theory and Practical areas. On satisfactory completion of the course and clearing the exams qualifies you to be awarded the Diploma.

Four weeks (100 hours) internship at prestigious schools in Delhi & NCR. And each

student is given the opportunity to plan and conduct a class for the underprivileged

children.
