Our History

Since 1899 we have cared for animals. We have taken care of animals for 112 years.We still, to this day, are continuing to care for animals.

“Since 1999, the beginning of our second century of caring, we have found loving permanent homes for more than 40,000 pets, spayed or neutered more than 61,000 animals and taught messages of compassion and caring for the animals to more than 225,000 school-aged children and community groups.”

The SAFE Program

SAFE in the SAFE stands for Short-term Accommodations For Emergencies.

If you have a house fire, a natural disaster or domestic violence,people are not able to be at their homes they can take their pet to the Anti-Cruelty Society and we will take care of their animal until they can come back and get it.

We started the SAFE program to give emergency shelter to all animals that need it.

Community Needs

There are a lot of animals being abused. People are abusing animals for no reason.

Do it yourself donations. You can make or sell things andall the profits go to the Anti-Cruelty Society.

The community need is that people are abusing animals all the time. We need to get people to stop abusing and neglecting animals. We need to allot people jobs to help save the animals.

Inputs

•Veterinarians- the veterinarians take the abused animals and get them healthier so they can get adopted.

•Volunteers- they help get the animals healthier.

•Pet visitations- people can visit the animals so that the animals can interact with somebody.

•Special events- the special events are made to raise money for the abused animals.

•Programs- they teach people how to save and care for abused animals.

Process

They want to get more people to take the programs.

They want people to volunteer more.

They want people to donate more.

They want to have the people care for the pets.

We are trying to curtail the number of animals being abused.

Outputs

We find good homes for the pets.

We have people volunteer.

We take care of the pets until their adopted.

We explicate how to care for abused animals.

We are aggrandizing the lives of these animals by providing them with a good safe home.

Outcomes

•Get the pets healthy.

•Get the pets good homes.

•Make sure they are in a loving and caring environment.

How It Relates to CR,CT, or CA

It relates to Critical Action because they get the pets to better health, they get the pets adopted, and they make sure the pets are in a loving and caring environment.

They also educate people by implementing the lesson plan in the formof a program.

How You Can Help

We have an adult and a teen volunteer program.

We have foster volunteering.

We have pet visitations.

We have do it yourself donations.

We have special events. Anybody can act as an ambassador and help plan special events.

The Funding Institution

The funding institution that would fund this is the Shuttleworth Foundation.

We are looking for more innovative ways to rescue abused animals.

The Shuttleworth Foundation would fund this nonprofit because they like innovative projects.

Personal Connection

My personal connection with this Nonprofit is the animals.

I have grown up around animals and I have always liked them.

I hate them being abused andNeglected.

I don’t think the animals deserve to be treated this way,
