Pakistan is blessed with special consecration of nature, it has differentcities in which culture and heritage are very rich. The Bahawalpur isone of the blessed city which has number of specialties, it s not be wrong, if we call Bahawalpuras the amazing city of Pakistan .

It is 12 th largest city of Pakistan, famous for its Palaces, Historical places, & Prominent EducationalInstitutions. It is former princely state in Pakistan. The imposing forts, magnificent state of thearts building and the shrines of Uch are a living testimony of the city. At the same time it was alsobecoming strategically very important city for Pakistan in business point of view. It lies at thecenter of Pakistan and connect Karachi to Khyber. All business trades have to pass throughBahawalpur.

Bahawalpur City is not an ancient one but possess glorious traditions. It was established about200 years back by Nawab Bahawal Khan I as a capital of the Bahawalpur State. It enjoyed thisstatus till 1954 when the state merged in Pakistan.

In Bahawalpur one can find the best education, health, administrative and judicial institutions. Ithas become a Mega city in terms of Real Estate, Parks, Markets and Institutions. The gloriouspalaces in the city enhances its beauty. Above all the clean and peaceful environment of the cityhas made it worth living and growing.

of Peace. It is a city of peace and harmony having calm and secure environment which makes it

a city worth living.

There are number of beautiful palaces i.e., Noor Mehal, Darbar Mehal, Gulzar Mehal,Neshat Mehal, Farukh Mehal, and Sadiq Garh Palace due to these beautiful state of the artsbuilding in Bahawalpur. It is also known as City of Palaces .

Bahawalpur has always been considered as a city of knowledge due to famous educationalinstitutes. Students from all over the country prefer to come to Bahawalpur to seek educationfrom school to university level.

This area is extremely important regarding national defense and from a strategic point of view.As, Bahawalpur is located at the center of Pakistan and all business trade (through road andrailway) from Karachi to Khyber have to cross Bahawalpur. And it creates big opportunities forpotential investors to invest in various sectors especially in value addition products, automobilesindustry, hoteling, livestock, poultry, leather, textile, and lot more.

Although in Bahawalpur, making of delicate and decorated earthenware is one of the traditionalcrafts. These earthenwares display the skill of the artisans. Decorated lampsh ades and flower-vases are also made from camel skin in some parts of the district which can be export. Hand

embroidery work on shirts is yet another spatiality of the area.
