First Lesson: Genesis 2:18-24

The Lord God said, “It is not good

that the man should be alone; I will

make him a helper as his partner.”

So out of the ground the Lord God

formed every animal of the field

and every bird of the air, and

brought them to the man to see

what he would call them; and

whatever the man called every

living creature, that was its name.

The man gave names to all cattle,

and to the birds of the air, and to

every animal of the field; but for

Long ago God spoke to our

ancestors in many and various

ways by the prophets, but in

these last days he has spoken to

us by a Son, whom he appointed

heir of all things, through whom

he also created the worlds. He is

the reflection of God’s glory and

the exact imprint of God’s very

todas las cosas con su palabra

poderosa. Después de limpiarnos

de nuestros pecados, se ha sentado

en el cielo, a la derecha del trono

bringing many children to glory,

should make the pioneer of their

salvation perfect through

CREDO DE LOS APÓSTOLES

Creo en Dios Padre todopoderoso,

creador del cielo y de la tierra.

Creo en Jesucristo, su único

Hijo, nuestro Señor. Fue

concebido por obra y gracia del

Espíritu Santo y nació de la

Virgen María. Padeció bajo el

poder de Poncio Pilato. Fue

crucificado, muerto y sepultado.

Descendió a los infiernos. Al

tercer día resucitó de entre

los muertos. Subió a los cielos,

y está sentado a la diestra de

Dios Padre. Desde allí ha de

venir a juzgar a vivos y muertos.

Creo en el Espíritu Santo, la

THE APOSTLES’ CREED

I believe in God, the Father almighty,

He stretched out his arms upon

the cross, and offered himself, in

obedience to your will, a perfect

sacrifice for the whole world.

On the night he was handed over to

suffering and death, our Lord Jesus

Christ took bread; and when he had

given thanks to you, he broke it,

and gave it to his disciples, and

said, "Take, eat: This is my Body,

which is given for you. Do this for

the remembrance of me."

After supper he took the cup of

wine; and when he had given

thanks, he gave it to them, and

said, "Drink this, all of you: This

is my Blood of the new Covenant,

which is shed for you and for

many for the forgiveness of sins.

Whenever you drink it, do this for

the remembrance of me."

Por tanto, proclamamos el misterio

de fe:

Celebrante y Pueblo: Cristo ha muerto.

Cristo volverá. El Celebrante continúa:

Padre, en este sacrificio de

alabanza y acción de gracias,

Extendió sus brazos sobre la cruz

Santifícalos con tu Espíritu Santo, y

así serán para tu pueblo el Cuerpo y

la Sangre de tu Hijo, la santa

comida y la santa bebida de la vida

nueva en él que no tiene fin.

Dios de los vivos,

Tu amor fiel nos ha hecho un pueblo de esperanza.
