Lewis and five other national offi cers will represent nearly 400,000 members from 8,000 chapters. Brad served as the Alabama State FFA President in 1986- 87. He served the North District as President and Reporter. He has also held the offi ces of chapter reporter and student advisor and has been a participant in leadership workshops, public speaking contests and dairy contests. Brad's Supervised Agricultural Experience Program included agric uLtu ral construction and maintenance and agricultural electrification. During high school, he worked for a construction company specializing in the building offa rm homes, barns, stabl es and machine shops. Brad will take a one-year leave of absence from Auburn University where he is a junior in agricultural education. Brad hopes to attend law school and pursue a career in teaching or agri business foUowing graduation. During Brad's year of service, he will travel more than 200,000 miles making hundreds of appearances on behalf of the FFA. As a national officer, he wi ll represent members to officials in government, education, business and agriculture. The national officer team wi ll meet with members on the chapter, state and national levels. NATIONAL WINNER WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AI Griffin AI Griffin, member of the Lineville FFA Chapter, representing the Southern Regio n, was declared the 1989 National Winner in the Wildlife Management Profici ency Award Program during the 62nd National FFA Convention in Kansas City, Missouri. The Wildlife Management Award program is designed to encourage agriculture studen ts to devel op and improve the availability of fish and wildlife through the conservation and improvement of existing Land and water habitat, development of new land and water habitat and the stocking of fish and wild game. Al manages a 350-acre farm for wildlife and sawtimber. He set up deer plots and pl anted winter grazing by planting fes cue, clover, orchard grass and wheat. FFA - LEADING THE CHALLENGE

NATIONALFFA VICE PRESIDENT Brad Lewis

Brad Lewis, of Elkmont, is the National fOF A Vice President for the Southern Region for 1989-90. Lewis and five other national officers will represent nearly 400,000 members from 8,000 chapters.

Brad served as the Alabama State FFA President in 1986­87. He served the North District as President and Reporter. He has also held the offices of chapter reporter and student advisor and has been a participant in leadership workshops, public speaking contests and dairy contests.

Brad's Supervised Agricultural Experience Program included agricuLtural construction and maintenance and agricultural electrification. During high school, he worked for a construction company specializing in the building offarm homes, barns, stables and machine shops.

AI Griffin AI Griffin, member of the Lineville FFA Chapter, representing

the Southern Region, was declared the 1989 National Winner in the Wildlife Management Proficiency Award Program during the 62nd National FFA Convention in Kansas City, Missouri.
