GOLF:

The Clear Springs Charger golf team traveled to the Dick Harmon High School Invitational at The Golf Club

of Houston on Dec 11 and 12. The tournament featured some of the best teams in the Region 3 area. The

charger team recorded rounds of 308-309 for a 617 team total which beat Clear Lake by 2 shots. This is the

first time that a CCISD school has won this event in the 9 years of the tournament running. Andre Jacobs won

the medalist honors by 4 shots shooting rounds of 72-72 for a total of 144. Alex Welch finished a strong 7th

place with rounds of 75-78=153. Also contributing to the win was Andrew Augustine (78-81), Alex Muniz (84-

78) and Wyatt Hicks (83-83).
