  • This survey was conducted shortly after the European elections, between 12 June and 2 July 2019, by

for the Public Opinion Monitoring Unit of the European Parliament.

The goal of the present study, covering the twelve nationalities with the highest number of expatriates,

was to gather insights into voting behaviour of EU expatriates in the 2019 European elections. The study

also sheds light into how and why expatriates voted, for which issues they care, and how they perceive the

European Union and the European Parliament.
