Smith), who deserted her hashand at Albany in November last and went to the Eastern Districts in company of a man named Salvador, a Portuguese, believed to be a miner·. No description is given of this woman j she is identical with Cathel'ine Smith, cOllvicted of manslaughter at Roebourne Quarter Sessions, 4th January, 1888 (see P.G. 1888. p. 23).
