This year’s record event, which occupied all available space at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre and the Mandarin Oriental ballroom, was the biggest and most international in the series as more and more international suppliers realise the lucrative business opportunities that await them in this pivotal hub for ASEAN. This year, FHM played host to 1,250 participating companies with a record 13 international / regional pavilions from Algeria, Belgium, China (Fujian Province), Japan, Korea, Libya, Philippines, Poland, Singapore, Taiwan, Tunisia, Turkey and USA. big tuna fish slicing.

Norwegian Seafood Council’s Ambassador Chef

For the Nordic seafood cuisine enthusiasts, FHM 2017 saw Norwegian Seafood Council’s Ambassador Chef; Chef Jimmy Chok,

who appeared at various selected Exhibitor’s booths on a daily basis to conduct cooking demonstrations.

Wine Village

FHM continues to specialise in feature areas with the 2017 show creating a special Wine Village for relevant buyers and interested parties. Underpinned by a strong participation from New Zealand via Trade NZ, the showcase was a terrific opportunity to see, smell

and taste some of the hottest wines currently available in the Malaysian market.

Launch of Worldchefs Congress & Expo 2018

FHM is also honoured to host the Launch of Worldchefs Congress & Expo 2018 by Special Guest; Thomas A. Gugler, President of Worldchefs.

Worldchefs Congress & Expo 2018 - Asia on a Plate - is taking place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, at the prestigious Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. The Congress includes four days of action-packed programming between 11 - 14 July 2018, while the Expo, featuring world-class exhibitors from across the culinary field, runs between 12 - 14 July 2018.
