As a team, create a video that addresses the issue of impaired driving. This year’s theme is, “TEAM Up to Be the DUDE!” Get creative and raise awareness about drunk/drugged driving by college-aged students. Thanks to our generous partner, TEAM Coalition will reward the first place team and runner-ups! Video Contest Rules: 1. All person(s) in the video entry must complete a video release form found at the registration table. 2. Produce a 30-60 second video with the theme, “TEAM Up to Be the DUDE” 3. Post your final video by 12:00 p.m. Saturday, April 27th, on social media (Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram). You must tag @be_the_dude* AND mention your school name to get engagement points towards your final score. The earlier you post on social, the more social media engagement points you’ll get. 4. Email your final video to [email protected] or send a Google Drive link for download by 12 PM Saturday, April 27. *The social media profile you post the video to must be public for UDS to follow and count the number of post engagements. On Saturday, April 27, the UDS Staff will judge the videos, tally all social media engagements for points (50 max), and announce the winners at the end of the Symposium. Dare to Prepare: An interactive driving workshopKara Thorp, AAAAAA’s Dare to Prepare workshop walks attendees through conversations on important safety concerns pertaining specifically to young drivers, such as impaired, distracted and drowsy driving. Participants will work together on activities that illustrate why these behaviors are dangerous when behind the wheel.

ADVISOR Track:ADAPT - Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention TrainingCovers alcohol trends, drug trends, impaired driving consequences, drug-facilitated sexual assault, and prevention.
