Hurricane Assistance Fund These donors made significant outright contributions to meet the immediate and ongoing needs of pregnant women and babies imperiled by Gulf Coast hurricanes and their aftermath.

As part of the $100 million Qatar Katrina Fund, the People of Qatar provided a grant of $3 million to the March of Dimes Hurricane Assistance Fund to acquire and operate three mobile health centers. The centers are providing much-needed medical care to pregnant women, new mothers and babies in areas ravaged by Hurricane Katrina.
