The early morning crew of Ade Onayemi, Mike Hornung, Bill Erickson, Lee Latham and Curt Cruver get special kudos. Their shift began at 4 a.m. Other volunteers were: Sophia Lloyd, Lesley Gottlinger, Loretta Daly, Bill Planek, Kathleen Planek, Annie Planek, Will Planek, Jerry Lordan, John Hedges, Rick Hibbert, Alex Hibbert and Maribeth Dunkley. Important Dates:Below is a list of important dates:July 18 — Board of Directors Meeting, 11 a.m.July 21 — District Grants Training Meeting —

Holiday Inn, Willowbrook — 9-11 a.m. Definitely for President and new Grants Committee Chair, but also for anyone interested in working on the club’s new Grants Committee. Please let Lesley know if you are interested since we need to register for this training event.

July 25 — Committee Meetings. Lesley is asking each committee to meet during lunch to get a head start on the year. Everyone will be contacted prior to this date, both to ask your committee preferences and to notify each Rotarian of final committee assignments. If you have any committee questions, please contact me.

Program meetings will resume once again at the beginning of August. As President Nominee/VP, Ade Onayemi is this year's program chair. Any suggestions for programs should go directly to him.
