In order to get the best from the radio please read this manual carefully before using it and take special notice of the section on maintenance. Maintenance ◆Remove the batteries if you decide not to use the radio for some time. Batteries left in electrical equipment may corrode and damage it; ◆Don’t let the radio get wet and don’t use it in a moist environment keep it out of the rain and use carefully in bathrooms and kitchens; ◆Do not place potentially damaging objects such as liquid-filled containers or lighted candle on top of the radio. Keep the radio, and the battery pack, away from sources of heat such as radia- tors, hot water pipes or fires. Do not leave it in full sunlight; ◆Make sure that solvents, such as white spirit, paraffin or petrol and not spilt onto the radio; ◆Keep it away from magnets and magnetic fields; ◆Position the radio so that air can circulate around it leave a space of 5 to 10 cm in front of and behind the radio; ◆Do not cover the radio with cloth or paper and avoid placing it on a bed where it might be covered by a blanket or duvet; ◆The radio is a sophisticated electronic device do not attempt to disassemble it or repair it and take care not to drop it. Power Supply1.Battery installation: Please open the battery compartment cover (5), and insert the batteries, ensuring that they are inserted correctly (batteries are included in the package) and replace the compartment cover back;2.Charging method: Plug the big end into the USB jack of your computer or USB power adapter, and plug the small end into the DC5V charging jack of the unit.3.Charging indicator: Charge the radio when the signal “ ” is flashing. While it is being charged, the signal “ ” will continue flashing. When it is fully charged the light will stop flashing and remain on. Please note that the signal “ ”only work when the radio is in MP3 mode.Please Note:1)The batteries will need to be replaced after being charged 1,000 times in case you haven't counted the number of times (!) replace them when they cease to hold their charge.2)It is important to replace old, failing batteries with identical batteries: 18650 lithium recharge-able batteries. Failure to do so may result in damage to the radio and possibly an explosion.3)In order to protect the environment please dispose of old batteries in approved disposal centres do not put them out with normal rubbish.4)Please use standard DC5V/500-1000Mah charger (or other devices can supply this type of power) to charge it, or it may damage the radio.5)Stop charging the radio as soon as the battery is fully charged avoid overcharging it.

Radio reception1. Turn the function switch ⑮ to the “FM”, “AM” or “SW” position;2. Turn the volume/power knob ⑭ to the power-on position;3. Rotate the tuning knob ⑬ to select the station you want to listen to;4. Turn the volume/power knob ⑭ to adjust the volume.◆When tuning to the FM/SW stations, extend the telescopic aerial ④ and adjust the position of the aerial for the best reception;◆The radio has a built in magnetic rod aerial for receiving AM stations. When listening to AM stations, rotate the radio to get the best reception;

Micro sd card playback1. Turn the function switch ⑮ to the "MP3" position.2. Turn the volume/power knob ⑭ to the power-on position, and the LCD will light up.3. Insert the Micro sd card loaded with MP3 or WMA format into the Micro sd card slot ②. Once mp3 files are detected, it will play automatically, and the LCD shows the playback status.4. Press the next song button ⑩ or the previous song button ⑪ to select the song you want to play. A long press on the next or previous song button will skip forwards or backwards by 10 tracks.5. Press the loop button ⑫ to repeat one track (single loop) or several tracks (global loop).6.When playing mp3 tracks pressing the play/pause button ⑨ will pause playing the current track; pressing this button again will resume playing this track.

HeadphonesIn order not to disturb others around you, you can use headphones to listen to MP3/WMA files. Plug the headphone into the headphone jack ① and the radio will automatically switch to head-phone listening mode and the built-in speaker will be muted.
