As the flames approached our gates, threatening to engulf the mustangs who rely on us for sanctuary, it was only the brave firemen, volunteers, helicopters and hand of God that saved their lives. Words cannot express how grateful we are to these volunteers for protecting America’s greatest icon, our beautiful mustangs from complete destruction. The photos below show just how close we came to losing it all as the fire approached the gates of Mustang Monument. We move forward strong in our faith and continued mission to protect these animals we have been blessed to care for.
