Day 1 & 2: USa - Bangkok Begin your journey as you board your international flight bound for Bangkok, the capital city of Thailand.

Day 3: arrive in Bangkok Today, fly over the Pacific Ocean and cross the international date line. Upon arrival in Hong Kong, board a connecting flight to Bangkok, in which you are met and greeted at the airport by your Discovery Program guide. Tonight, attend a traditional Thai Classical Dance Welcome Dinner Show. DS

Day 4: Bangkok Bangkok has served for over 200 years as the spiritual, cultural, commercial, and educational heart of Thailand. It is a large city, home to about 10 million residents. This morning, visit and admire the royal splendor of the Grand Palace and Coronation Hall. Buddhism is one of the cornerstones of Thai culture. Appreciate the level of devotion as you view the Emerald Buddha Temple. Then xplore the world famous Damnern Saduak Floating Market on Bangkok’s timeless klongs (canals). B, L

Day 5: Bangkok Bangkok is dotted with 400 glittering Buddhist temples and magnificent palaces, classical dance extravaganzas, and numerous shopping centers.

Numerous flat boats fill the klongs with produce and other wares to be bargained for. The afternoon is free for your leisure activities. You may want to go on an optional excursion to the Rose Garden featuring an exciting Thai Cultural Show with elephants. Emerald Buddha Temple. After visiting the Gems Factory and Thai Silk, the rest of the afternoon is free at leisure. B, L

Day 6: Bangkok Today, you are free to explore Bangkok at our own pace, do some shopping on our own, or relax at the hotel. B

Day 7: Bangkok - Chiang Mai After breakfast, you will be transferred to Bangkok’s domestic airport for departure to Chiang Mai, a city of great historical interest and noted for its handicraft villages and colorful ethnic hilltribes. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel, assembling later in the evening to attend a Khantoke Lanna Dinner Show where you will be entertained by the Finger Dance, Sword Dance, the Candle Dance, There is also a special performance by the Akha, Meo, Lishaw, Lahu, Yao and Karen Tribes. Day 8: Chiang Mai This morning, visit the historical Doi Suthep Temple and the Holy Pagoda containing a relic of Lord Buddha. Continue to the Thai Handicraft Village, Sankhempeng Silk & Cotton Handweaving Factories, and Borsang, a village famous for its umbrellas and primitive paper making. Tonight, enjoy shopping local Chiang Mai products at the Night Bazaar, then take a leisurely walk back to the hotel. B, L

Day 9: Chiang Mai Start off your day with a visit to see the elephants at work in the jungles. Experience a close-up encounter with the elephants and see how they behave in their natural environment. We will also be taking a Bamboo rafting adventure on the Mae Taeng River! B, L

Day 10: Chiang Mai - Bangkok- USa Today, fly back to Bangkok and Bid Thailand a fond farewell as you board your homebound international flight. B

Payments: A $450 per person deposit check will be needed now in order to hold your space on the trip. Your final payment statement will be mailed to you, with your final payment being due July 3, 2011, which is 100 days before departure.

Rate: $2,399 per person double occupancy. Single supplement, add $600. Fuel surcharges taxes and other fees are presently $307 and are included. Any difference at the time of billing will be calculated and added or subtracted from your statement.

Refunds: Cancel more than 120 days prior to departure for any reason, you will be issued a refund less $150 each. Cancel 119 days to 100 days and receive a refund less $450 per person. Cancel 99 to 60 days and receive a refund of 50% of the total trip cost, within 59 days there is a 100% charge of total trip cost. Refund & trip protection is not included, but strongly suggested and available from us at www.chamberdiscoveries.com. Written cancellation required and is effective when received by Chamber Discoveries during normal business hours. Note: Valid U.S. passport required. Singles are limited. Passport, tips to guides, airline bag fees, airport/departure taxes paid locally, visa, credit card payment fees and other items of a personal nature are not included.
