Day 1 and 2 - USA to the Holy Land Your spiritual pilgrimage begins as you depart the USA. Arrive in TelAviv and transfer to Bethlehem for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 - Jericho and QumranVisit the baptismal site of Qasr el Yehud, where tradition says Jesuswas baptized by John the Baptist. Journey to Jericho (the oldest cityin the world) to visit the ruins of the ancient city Joshua conquered(Josh. 6:1). In the distance, you can see the traditional site of theTemptation of Jesus (Matt. 4:1). Continue on to Qumran, site of theDead Sea Scroll discovery. End your day with the opportunity to takea dip in the mineral laden waters of the Dead Sea.

Day 4 - Herodion and Bethlehem Explore one of the most exciting archeological digs in Israel—Herodion, the palace-fortress and final resting place of Herod theGreat. In Bethlehem, visit the cave where Jesus was born (Matt.1:18) and the Church of the Nativity built there. Gaze out overShepherds Field, where angels first proclaimed the Good News.

Day 5 - Caesarea, Mount Carmel and Megiddo Visit the Roman Aqueduct and Theatre at Caesarea, a center of theearly Christians and where Paul was imprisoned for two years. ViewMount Carmel, site of Elijah’s victory over the prophets of Baal(I Kings 18). Travel the ancient caravan route through the JezreelValley to Tel Megiddo, an exciting archeological dig with its layers oftwenty different cities built on top of each other.

Day 6 - The Galilee Enjoy a scenic drive to Capernaum, center of Jesus’ ministry in theGalilee (Matt. 4:13). On the Mount of Beatitudes, contemplate thetext of the Sermon on the Mount that Jesus preached there (Matt.5-7). Experience a special onboard worship service as you sail acrossthe Sea of Galilee. Visit the Church of the Fish and the Loaves (Luke9:10-17) in Tabgha, the traditional location of the feeding of the5,000. As you pray in the Chapel of the Primacy, remember howPeter professed his devotion to the risen Christ three times (John21).

Day 7 - Cana, Nazareth, Samaria and Jacob's WellBegin your day with a visit to Cana, the site of Christ's first miracle(John 2) before stopping in Nazareth, Jesus’ boyhood home (Matt.2:23). Continue past Tel Dothan, thought to be the place whereJoseph found his brothers with their flocks (Gen. 37). Visit Samaria,the capital of the Northern Kingdom and home to Ahab and Jezebel.See Mount Ebal and Mount Gerizim where the Israelites recited theblessings and curses of the Law. In modern day Nablus (ancientShechem), see where the Samaritan woman encountered Christ(John 4) at Jacob's Well.

Day 8 - Jerusalem Stand on the Mount of Olives and enjoy a remarkable view of theGolden City of Jerusalem. Forty days after His resurrection, Jesusascended into heaven from this place (Acts 1:9). Walk to the Gardenof Gethsemane and pray beneath the ancient olive trees (Matt.26:36). On Mount Zion, visit the Upper Room, revered as the site ofthe Last Supper (Mark 14:12) and St. Peter in Gallicantu, wheresome say Jesus was held after His arrest.

Day 9 - Jerusalem This morning, enjoy a walking tour of the Old City of Jerusalem alongthe Cardo, once the main street of the city. Explore the DavidsonCenter and the Southern Wall Excavations, including the TeachingSteps and the Western Wall. Remember how Jesus healed on theSabbath when you visit the Pool of Bethesda (John 5:1). At Herod’sAntonia Fortress (Luke 23:1), see where Jesus was brought beforePontius Pilate. Walk the Via Dolorosa ("the Way of the Cross") andremember the Lord’s sacrificial love at the Church of the HolySepulchre. Share communion together at the Garden Tomb incelebration of His Resurrection.

Day 10 - Ein Karem, Nebi Samuel, Emmaus, Valley of Elah Travel to Ein Karem, birthplace of John the Baptist and where Maryvisited Elizabeth (Luke 1:26). Visit Nebi Samuel, thought to be theburial place of the prophet Samuel. In Emmaus, recall how theresurrected Jesus appeared to two of His disciples (Luke 24:13).Journey through the Valley of Elah, where David defeated Goliath(I Sam. 17).

Day 11 - Return to the USA or enjoy an Extension.
