Main Features

The T-eye Drive Recorder is used to record video and audio data upon any

car accident such as collision, impact, and sudden acceleration-related

incident. You can analyze the data to find its root cause by playing back the

scenes of interest.

Full recording

The video and audio data for front and rear views can be continuously

recorded while driving. When the capacity of the SD memory card has been

exceeded during full recording, the old files get overwritten.

Event recording

When the impact detected by G-Sensor has exceeded the preset limit or you

press the emergency record button, the recorded video data is locked (for

previous 1/2/3 and next 1 minute views). The locked data cannot be

overwritten.

Playback of video/audio data

The recorded data can be played back using the provided software. Its video

size can have maximum 640 x 480.

Data analysis

The recorded data can be easily analyzed for car speed, coordinates, and

impact location by using the T-eye Player.

Tips before Using the Product

Preparation for video recording

1. When you connect the power cord with the SD memory card inserrted to

the body, “dR Init” appears on the display window and the video recording is

now ready to start.

2 . In about 25 seconds after power supply, the body finishes the preparationstep and you can hear the “ding dong” sound.

3 . After hearing the sound, T-eye starts full recording.

Full recording and playback while driving

1. T-eye informs you of your car speed, speed trap, and miscellaneous

information.

2 . When the capacity of the SD memory card has been exceeded, the old

files are overwritten for continuous recording.

The files recorded by events (G-Sensor, emergency record) are not

overwritten.3 . When you stop the engine or remove the cigar jack, T-eye stops

operation.

4 . By inserting the SD memory card into the card reader and connecting the

reader to your PC, you can play back the driving video images through the T-

eye exclusive viewer.

SD memory card related

Use only the provided SD memory card. Or you may encounter its

malfunction. For other available SD memory cards, see the SD memory card

compatibility table on the company website.

In case of PCs and notebooks that do not support the SD memory card

SDHC2.0, use a separate SDHC2.0 USB reader.

Periodically format the SD memory card for preventing errors or using for a

long time. (Recommended)

● After formatting the SD memory card, set the time zone in T-eye configuration (see page 16).

● If you do not configure the settings, the initial loading time takes so long, and the time of the

recorded file and its time zone may not match.

● In case of formatting the SD memory card, the existing recorded video files are all deleted so be

sure to perform backup for necessary video files.
