1976: Sigmatex was founded. It is one of the earliest suppliers of imported textile

products. Its main focus was the importation of

hospitality, healthcare and industrial terry products

from India to supply US distributors.

Early 1980s: Sigmatex was instrumental in establishing the first

towel mill in Sri Lanka, Philippines and

Malaysia.

with textile manufacturers in Pakistan.

2010: After more than a decade of steady growth, Lanier Textile Distribution and Sigmatex merged to become Sigmatex-Lanier

Textiles. The merger brought together Sigmatex's sourcing experience of
