Texarkana Gazette’s policy is to publish information about the top ten graduates from area schools. Since Texas High School uses the Cum Laude System for ranking graduates and in an effort to recognize all Honor Graduate students, TISD compensates the Texarkana Gazette (as paid advertising) for the additional column inches used to present the additional Honor Graduate students.
