Wood as a source of energy

Sustainability is at the core of Unilin’s production. As a pioneer in industrial recycling, wood is used as a renewable raw material but only 100% recovered wood is used to produce new, high quality panels.

When wood is incinerated or rots, CO2 is released into the atmosphere. We commit ourselves to keeping wood in circulation for as long as possible before we convert it into green energy ourselves. So by processing wood into high-quality panels, we save it from incineration and thus reduce CO2 emissions. Only when wood can no longer be given life as a product, we will convert it into green energy and further reduce our CO2 emissions in production.

PANELS

VelourTouchTM Panels are available in 4’ x 9’ or 49” x 109”. They are finished on both sides with VelourTouchTM for easy construction and an all around perfect match. These exclusive Olon panels are silky to the touch, anti-fingerprint and scratch resistant. To ensure extra protection during furniture manufacturing, all 3/4” panels have a protective peel coat on both sides.

DECOLINKTM LAMINATES

DecoLINKTM formable laminate take the guesswork out of on-site refacing and new installations by providing a vertical grade laminate that is postformable, flexible in both directions and an exact match to all other VelourTouchTM components. Can be used alone to finish end gables or together with our other finished panels.

Manufactured using state-of-the-art equipment and the finest materials, StyleLite possesses an optical grade surface of the highest quality compared to all other traditional categories of high gloss panels

StyleLite’s deep, mirror-like gloss surface contains none of the obvious orange peeling, imperfections or telegraphing inherent in inferior high gloss panel types such as melamines, laminates, thermofoils (vinyl wraps) and most painted panels

StyleLite is generally repairable if lightly scratched saving time, money and inconvenience
