Testing an oil sample on the transport X1. Initial Steps Connect unit to mains supply via provided power cord and engage unit using power switch on top panel. Select Start New Measurement and follow on-screen instructions to input sample information.2. Connecting Sample Container Place ONE clean magnetic stirrer into a clean sample bottle and screw lid firmly shut. Place bottle into holder on top panel. Connect temperature sensor plus gas input and return pipes using compression fittings. Follow on-screen instructions to proceed.3. Injecting Sample and Analysis Take a 50ml sample of oil using a glass syringe fitted with a two way stopcock. Analysis should be performed as soon as possible after sampling. Connect a valve adaptor to stopcock valve on syringe. When prompted, follow on-screen instructions to inject oil sample. Press next to run Dissolved Gas Analysis and ensure the bottle is not moved during the oil sample test.4. End Of Test Following test completion, results can be viewed, stored or printed using on screen instructions. Disconnect temperature sensor, gas inlet and return pipes. Select Turn Off on touch screen menu and turn off power switch when prompted. Ensure magnetic stirrer and sample bottle is cleaned after use and before storage.
