OTHER EVENT FUNCTIONSRetail Expo

The Retail Expo provides athletes, spectators and the local community an opportunity to check out the latest triathlon and sports gear. With more than twenty retailers, featuring at the Expo there is bound to be something for everyone. The Expo will be open Friday and Saturday throughout the festival and an estimated 10,000 people flock through the expo during the weekend. The Expo provides another great opportunity for event partners and sponsors to display their products and engage the participants and community through select product activation strategies. www.facebook.com.

Chat with the Pros

Participants and their families are treated to an inside look at the "Life of a Professional Athlete". Held locally in Busselton, participants are able to attend an intimate question and answer session with pro athletes that will be competing at Ironman 70.3 Busselton. A wonderful networking opportunity for all event partners and sponsors.

Charity Breakfast

Held annually at the Goose Cafe and now in its third year the Charity Breakfast is a popular choice for all. Be treated to an all-star panel, great food and an opportunity to raise funds for a much-needed cause. This charity breakfast attracts great numbers and is again another fantastic networking opportunity. More information relating to this event is released closer to the festival.

Athlete Function/Meltdown Party and Medal Ceremony

Ironman 70.3 Busselton is the last event on the triathlon season calendar within WA and as such the post race Meltdown Party has always been a traditional part of the Festival of Triathlon. It is a fabulous way for the athletes to let their hair down and bask in their achievements for the year amongst their peers with a night of dancing and fun. Dressed up, or dressed down, the athletes really know how to make this night count!

A large function marquee at the race site, combined with an awards presentation to all winner is an evening of celebration and fun for all participants, sponsors, volunteers and spectators alike. It’s a great end to the triathlon season and NOT to be missed!!
