    Terms & AgreementsPlease initial each numbered agreement acknowledging that you have read.

    The above mentioned dog shall hereinafter be referred to as Dog. The above mentioned potential adopter shallhereinafter be referred to as I or the potential adopter. Royal Canine Rescue shall hereinafter be referred to as RCR.

    1. Adoption Donation. To assist us in continuing our rescue work, we request an adoption donation.a. If your new dog isnt who you hoped she/he would be, with this contact you are agreeing, and you must,

    return the dog to us in the first 7 days in the same condition the dog was on the date of adoption.b. In the event you exercise the option listed in 1.a., to return the adopted dog for incompatibility reasons, the

    fee will be returned to you or, at your discretion, can be applied toward the adoption of a more suitabledog, or made as a donation to RCR.

    c. After the 7 day trial process has ended, We will not under any circumstances give refunds!!!2. No Representations. You understand that this Dog was previously unwanted or lost and may have been rescued by us

    from dangerous, unhealthy and/or cruel situations. You will be made aware of those reasons prior to taking the dog, tothe best of our ability. Each dog may need training in one or more of the following areas: obedience (jumping,

    barking), housebreaking, walking on a leash, separation anxiety, as well as socialization (introduction to new soundsand sights), and possibly medical rehabilitation issues.

    3. Care of the Dog. You agree to provide the Dog with fresh water, dog food, outdoor exercise, affection, and shelter.You will treat the Dog as a household pet, companion and family member and not leave the Dog chained, crated and/orotherwise confined for extended periods of time.

    4. Veterinary Care. You agree to have the Dog examined by a licensed veterinarian annually. You agree to keep allrequired vaccinations current, including Rabies & Distemper/Parvo (DHLPP) and to ensure that the Dog receives

    preventative medication for heartworms and fleas. In case of illness or injury, you agree to seek prompt veterinary care.

    5. No Liability. Neither RCR, its officers nor volunteers, are liable for any claims, losses, injuries, damages, costs,expenses, or liabilities whatsoever in connection with your adoption or ownership of the Dog. This includes heartworm

    treatments of the Dog.6. Behavioral Issues. You are fully responsible for the actions and behavior of the adopted dog(s) while in your home.

    RCR will not be held responsible for any damages to your personal property, i.e., chewing, digging, housebreakingissues, etc.

    7. No Right to Transfer. You agree not to abandon, give away, sell or dispose of the Dog in any way, and to notify usimmediately at any time you determine you no longer want to, or no longer can keep the Dog.

    8. Return Policy. If Adopter decided to not keep the Dog, Adopter hereby agrees to return the Adoptee to RCR.Importantly, Adopter agrees to give RCR ten (10) working days to secure a kennel, and will provide safe and lovingcare of the Dog until it is returned.

    9. Breach of Agreement. In the event that you do not comply with the terms of this Agreement, or the Dog is abused orneglected, one of our remedies will be to recover the Dog from you upon demand. Promptly after the demand we willcome to your residence and you will surrender the Dog to us immediately.

    10.Follow Up. Adopter understands and agrees that RCR is fully entitled to make follow-up visits or phone calls toascertain that all of the covenants and clauses of this agreement are being satisfied. Adopter is obligated to cooperate.
