Middle Schoolers Time of major growth and development – academic, physical, social- emotional Three short years; enter at 11 years and exit at 14 years! Attend to three important transitions -from elementary, between 6th and 7th, and to high school. Teachers, Counselors, and admin all approach students from a Growth Mindset – mistakes & disappointments are opportunities to learn and grow; reinforce resiliency and adaptability Terman is a SAFE and WELCOMING school for everyone!

What is PAPiE and Why Give? PiE = Palo Alto Partners in Education
The sole non-profit devoted to raising money for all Palo Alto public schools The only organization that can fund additional PAUSD teachers and staff The donations fund programs we want for our children but the district can’t afford Public dollars, even in Palo Alto, provide ~$10k less per student per year than high-performing East Coast districts Suggested donation $1000 per child, or what’s meaningful to your family. Donations are tax deductible

After School Sports and Supports After School Sports- Run by City of Palo Alto (please refer to the Enjoy catalog information) begins in Sept. Homework Habitat- Mon., Tues. & Thurs. in the library (3:15-4:30 P.M.): Teacher(s) and aides available to help support academics. Quiet please to study, get help, complete HW. Begins September 1st! Math Advantage - Dedicated Math help from Math teachers! Writing Center – Dedicated writing help from English teachers! More information will be shared!

Please honor this expectation and be mindful of the schedule so that you follow the periods promptly.
