Year FS1 Remote Learning
Pack
Term 3A: Pack 1
Welcome
This pack contains your work for this week. It is really important if you are feeling well and able that you continue to learn from home and we are eager to support you with this. Each pack provides you with a weeks’ worth of work so if you are working from home for two weeks you will need to complete one pack each week. Please work your way through the activities below for each day and upload photographs of your completed work onto your portfolio on Class Dojo. Adults in your class will then look at your work and give you any feedback to support you. They will also be able to reward you for all of your Remote Learning efforts to on Class Dojo. Parent/carers can also contact the class email address on: [email protected] to send any work back this way or with an enquiry about the work set. We will also be ringing you on a Tuesday during your time at home so we can answer any questions and also say hello!

Wellbeing Idea for the Week

Day 1 Maths: Can we order numbers from 1 to 5?
Practise your number formation of number 1. Trace these and then practise yourself.

Day 1 Literacy: Reading
Listen to The Wheels on the Bus. Use this link if you have YouTube. Practise singing and
doing the actions.

Where do you think the bus might be going? Draw a picture of where the bus might be going
to.
Write a label for where your bus is going. Grown-ups if you can write the word and ask your
child to copy the letters.

Trace the sound ‘m’. start on the red dot. Remember ‘down Maisie, over the mountain, over
the mountain’. Write the sound yourself.

Day 1 Expressive Art and Design: Can you join in with a familiar song and actions?
Practise singing The Wheels on the Bus. Can you add actions to the song? Upload a video of

Day 2 Phonics: What can you spot with the initial sound ‘m’?
Say the sound ‘m’ and then say the words that begin with the sound ‘m’.

Day 2 Health and Self Care: Can you draw a healthy plate of food?
Here is an empty plate. Draw healthy foods on the plate that you like
to eat. Grown-ups, please label the foods that the children choose to
draw.

Have a go at making these big and small shapes with your body. Can you say if you have
made a big or a small shape?

Day 3 Writing: Can you hold your pencil in a tripod grip?
Hold you pencil in a tripod grip and follow the lines to create the design on the bus.

What can the passengers see when they get to the zoo?
Draw your favourite animal. Remember to hold your pencil in a tripod grip.

Day 3 Understanding The World: What is the weather like today?
Circle what the weather is like today.
Draw something that you will need to wear if you go outside today.

Talk about what the passengers will see at the seaside. Use these pictures to help you.
