overviewoverviewThe mission of the Investment Club is to provide an

opportunity for MBA and MSCF students to educate themselves about investment research and portfolio management through:

• Tepper Investment Club Fund

• Access to an Industry Speaker Series

• Case Competition

• CFA panels and discounted test prep materials

• Career Mentorship

• Company Visits

Investment Club FundInvestment Club FundThe fund is currently in its infancy; however, we plan to:

• Create a professional money management environment by obtaining access to various software and data vendors

• Work with an Investment Committee consisting of Faculty, Administration, Alumni and Industry Practitioners to establish a formal investment process

• Seek funding within Tepper and from external sources

• Integrate the fund into the curriculum for the Class of 2007

• The fund will help Investment Club members prepare for jobs in Asset Management, Investment Banking, and Equity Research

Case competitionCase competition• Open to all Tepper students• Currently scheduled to take place in the spring

semester (either mini 3 or mini 4)

• Will consist of groups commingling both first and second year students

• Integrate skill-sets from course offerings:

[i.e. Finance, Investment Analysis and Financial Statement & Fundamental Analysis]
