Get Started Today - Sign Up at http://www.tenmarks.com (Chances are you’ve already done this and have added your class) - You can grant access to your classroom data to your Principal – simply add their email address on your Settings page.

TEACHER DASHBOARD – SINGLE VIEW OF YOUR CLASS

DASHBOARD Home Tab Your Dashboard shows you your class roster, as well as key statistics, including

assignments completed, last worked date, performance, etc. Each class you setup shows up as a different tab.

Click on the (info) icon to get/change student information, including their parent access code. The (trash) icon lets you delete the student if you’d like – remember any work done by the student will also be deleted forever.

Student Details

Class Roster Click on the link to view and print the entire class roster – it will give you access to usernames and passwords for all students.

Tracks

Curriculum Tab The TenMarks Curriculum is made up of Albums and Tracks. Albums correspond to Chapters, and Tracks correspond to Topics.

To customize your class curriculum, you may add up to 3 additional Albums to your class, from any other grade level.

TEACHER DASHBOARD – SINGLE VIEW OF YOUR CLASS

DISTRIBUTE STUDENT USERNAMES Class Roster Your Dashboard has a link for your class roster – click on it. It has all the student

usernames and passwords which you should give to the students. Students can change their own passwords from their student account setting page, but this link will always have the most updated one.

Parent Access The class roster will also have parent letters you can send out to families. Each student has a “parent code”, which 3 family members can use to create their own accounts, which will give them access to their student’s work, including access to the video lessons – so they can review the material with their student.

ASSIGN WORK IN SECONDS

ASSIGN WORK Assignment Tab This is where you go to assign work, and review results.

Click here to review the results previous assignments. Recent Assignments

1 – Select Students (Default: All) 2 – Choose Album, and Track(s) 3 – Enter Due Date, and # of Questions (Note: If you choose more than 1 track, students will get a separate assignment for each track with the # of questions you selected) 4 – Write a Message (e.g. Please complete this assignment by Aug 24th)

That’s It. Your students will each get an assignment with varying questions – no two students get the same assignment.

REAL-TIME RESULTS AND INSIGHTS

RECENT ASSIGNMENTS Assignment Tab This is where you go to assign work, and review results.

You can click on the Individual Score (e.g. 8/10) to see which questions they got correct, and where they struggled.

Real Time Insights

1 – Each Assignment is Displayed in a Box (See Track Name, Due Date)

2 – Pie Chart – Of the Students Who Have Completed, How Many Scored >70% (Green), <30% (Red)

* Envelope Icons Shows Messages Back from Students; Trash Icon Lets You Delete This Assignment (and any student work associated with it)

3 – Click on Pie Chart to See Specifics, Including Individual Student Scores, Time on Task, and Hints, Videos Used

ENGAGING AND EASY TO USE FOR STUDENTS

STUDENTS LOVE TENMARKS Student Carousel This is how students use TenMarks. Each Assignment shows up on their home

page, and they simply click on “Start” to do their work.

Students can always click on the Reports Tab in the top header to see up to date information on their work.

Reports

Assignments – are arranged by date in the Open tab.

Completed – Students can always go to the Completed tab to review completed work, and practice some more.

Reward Zone – Students unlock a game with every 6 tracks they complete, and get a certificate when they’ve completed all tracks in al album.

ENGAGING AND EASY TO USE FOR STUDENTS

STUDENTS LOVE TENMARKS Student Use This is how students use TenMarks. Each Assignment shows up on their home

page, and they simply click on “Start” to do their work.

If TenMarks realizes that a student is simply using hints for every question, and not putting in effort, the hints disappear.

Intelligent Hints

Questions – Students get a variety of questions to ensure they get a complete mastery of the topic they’re working on.

Hints – Students can use hints when they get stuck, which help them refresh the concept quickly and get help.

Video Lessons – Students can watch video lessons on each question, which show give them invaluable instruction, just in time.

REAL-TIME REPORTS AND INSIGHTS

ACTIONABLE INSIGHTS Reports Tab This is where you access detailed reports and insights on your class. You can

access reports on student performance, activity, and proficiency. Note: TenMarks is updating the reports in September.

You can authorize your administrators to access your class activity and performance data. Simply ask your principal to register for a Principal account. Once they’ve done so, you can add their registered email to your “Settings” page, and grant them access. They’ll be able to see your reports, as well as consolidated reports for all teachers in your school.
