1. Use a car seat for every trip.

2. Put baby to sleep alone, on his back, in a crib.

3. Test water temperature and keep a hand on baby during bath time.

4. Keep poisons out of reach… think medicines, cleaners, makeup.

5. Cover electrical outlets, put safety latches on drawers and doors.

6. Install safety gates at stairs and doorways.

7. Watch for choking hazards, that’s anything that can fit into a toilet paper roll.

8. Keep baby away from hot stove, fireplace, matches.

9. Have a smoke alarm on every floor.

10. Put away all knives, scissors and other sharp objects.
