TEMPLES AND TIGERS TOUR: DETAILED ITINERARYDAY 1 Arrive DelhiUpon arrival at Delhi international airport, our company representative willmeet & assist you with traditional welcome and transfer to your hotel forcheck-in. Rest of the day free and easy for own activities. Overnight atDelhi.

DAY 2 Delhi – Indore by FlightHalf Day Guided tour of Delhi visit India Gate, President’s House & QutubMinar, later drive to airport to connect flight for Indore. Upon arrival atIndore airport, check in to the hotel. Overnight at Indore.

DAY 3 Indore – Omkareshwar – Maheshwar – ManduPost breakfast, transfer to Mandu. En-route visit Omkareshwar andMaheshwar. The presence of one of the twelve Jyotirlingam makesOmkareshwar one of the holiest Hindu sites of India. On reachingOmkareshwar, visit the temple of Shri Omkar Mandhata, Siddhnath templeand the temple of Gauri Somnath. Also visit the huge Nandi bull carved onthe hillside opposite the temple of Gauri Somnath. After the visit we head tothe town of Maheshwar. The major temples to visit in Maheshwar includeAhilyeshwar temple, Jaleshwar temple and the Rajarajeswara temple. Thenproceed to Mandu. On reaching Mandu, check in to the hotel. Overnight at Mandu.

DAY 4 In ManduPost breakfast, proceed to visit the Bagh Caves. These nine caves arefamous for its paintings which closely resembles to those found in Ajantacaves. Later in the day embark on a guided tour of Mandu. The majortourist attractions of Mandu cover Jahaz Mahal, Rupmati Pavilion, RewaKund and the Hindola Mahal. After the visit return to the hotel for somerest. In the evening enjoy a sumptuous meal. Overnight at Mandu.

DAY 5 Mandu – Ujjain – BhopalPost breakfast leave for Bhopal by surface. Stop midway at Ujjain. Themajor tourist attractions of Ujjain include Bhartruhari Caves, Bade GaneshjiKa Mandir, ChaubisKhamba Temple, Gopal Mandir, Gomti Kund and theKaliadeh Palace. After the visit continue to drive towards Bhopal. Uponreaching Bhopal, check-in at one of our listed hotels. After some rest,proceed to a sightseeing tour of Bhopal, the magnificent city of Nawabs.The major tourist attractions to visit include Moti Masjid, Shaukat Mahal,Lakshmi Narayan temple, Bharat Bhavan, Rastriya Manav Sangrahalaya,Lower Lake and the Upper Lake. Overnight at Bhopal

DAY 6 Bhopal – Bhimbetka-Sanchi – BhopalEarly morning, embark on an excursion to Sanchi. It is the famous Buddhistpilgrimage site. This world heritage site houses the stupas which containrelics of Buddha. The major tourist attractions to visit in Sanchi includeGreat stupa, Stupa 3, Ashoka Pillar, Mauryan apsidal, Temple 17. In theeastern area visit temple 45 while in the southern area visit Temple 40. Thegreat stupa in Sanchi was commissioned by Emperor Ashoka. In theevening return to the hotel. Overnight at Bhopal

DAY 7 Bhopal – Kanha National Park Post breakfast leave for Kanha National Park. The Kanha National Park isone of the finest wildlife areas. The park is filled with large varieties offauna and is best known for the swamp deer. On reaching Kanha NationalPark, get accommodated at one of listed wildlife resort. Being at KanhaNational Park explore the rich flora which features numerous vegetativeattractions around the vicinity. Later in the day enjoy bird watching beingaccompanied by the naturalist. In the evening return to the resort.Overnight at the wildlife resort, Kanha.

DAY 8 Kanha National ParkMorning and evening Jungle exploration on Jeep. Overnight at the wildliferesort, Kanha.

DAY 9 Kanha National Park - BandhavgarhNext morning we leave for Bandhavgarh. Upon reaching Bandhavgarh,check-in at one of our listed resorts. After some rest, proceed to explorethe Bandhavgarh fort. Later in the day visit the Baghel Museum. The BaghelMuseum preserves the personal belongings of the Maharaja of Rewa. Alsovisit the Tala village that has many mud houses and abounds with naturallandscapes. Overnight at the wildlife resort, Bandhavgarh.

DAY 10 Bandhavgarh National ParkNext morning set out on an excursion to Bandhavgarh National Park. This

small national park is perfect for game viewing. The density of tigerpopulation is highest known in Bandhavgarh National Park all over India.Enjoy jeep/elephant safari to explore the park while visiting animals in theirnatural habitat. The best time to take a jeep safari is from dawn until about10 am and from 4 pm until dusk. Overnight at the wildlife resort,Bandhavgarh.

DAY 11 Bandhavgarh – KhajurahoPost breakfast, proceed to Kahjuraho. Located in the Bundelkhand regionthis small town is famous for groups of Hindu and Jain temples. Thetemples of Khajuraho are the UNESCO World Heritage Site for theirbeautiful and erotic rock carvings. Upon reaching Khajuraho, check-in atone of listed hotels. The major tourist attractions of Western Group ofKahjuraho temples include Lakhmana temple, Kandariya Mahadeo temple,Devi Jagdamba temple, ChaunsatYoginiand the Vishwanath temple whilethe Eastern Group of temples include Parsvanath temple, Ghantai temple,Adinath temple and the Vamana temple. Overnight at Kahjuraho.

DAY 12 Khajuraho – OrchhaPost breakfast, drive straight to Orchha. On reaching Orchha, getaccommodated at one of our listed hotels. Rest and relax in your hotel tilllunch. After lunch, embark on a sightseeing tour of Orchha. The majortourist attractions of Orchha include the Chandreshekhar Azad Memorial,Chhatris, Dauji Ki Haveli, Raja Mahal and the Laxmi Narayan temple.Overnight at Orchha.

DAY 13 Orchha – Gawalior (by surface) Gawalior - Agra (by train)After breakfast, drive straight to Gwalior. Upon reaching Gwalior, check-inat one our listed hotels. The major tourist attractions of Gwalior includeGwalior Fort, Jai Vilas Palace, Man Mandir Palace, Teli Ka Mandir, SurajKund, Padavali temple and the Bateshwarvalley.later transfer to railwaystation to board train for Agra, upon arrival at Agra railway station Check ininto the hotel.
