performance abilities, flexibility, ease as an actor/singer, plus anassessment of the candidates dancing ability, with an emphasis on anability to acquire important dancing skills and an understanding of musicaltheater dance, both past and present

Artistic resumes that reveal a broad ability to play both leading andsecondary character roles. Directing and teaching resumes will also beexamined.

Two letters of recommendation from former teachers at theundergraduate level, professional colleagues, and/or private teachers whoknow the applicant in an academic and artistic context.

A writing sample that, in 350 words or fewer, expresses the applicantscareer objectives and how study at The Boston Conservatory will assisthim or her in achieving those goals

Complete a written exam in music theatre history (must score a certainaverage)
