NGTNational Green Tribunal:

The NGT was established in 2010 under the National Green Tribunal Act 2010,

passed by the Central Government.

Structure: The Principal Bench of the NGT has been established in the National Capital – New

NCST recommends ‘tribal area’ status for Ladakh

The National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST) on Wednesday wrote to Home Minister Amit Shah and Tribal Affairs Minister Arjun Munda, recommending that Ladakh be declared a tribal area under the Sixth Schedule of the Constitution.
