실시간 방송과 주문형 방송 등의 선택 시 5초 ~ 15초간의 버퍼링 대기시간

고비용이 투자되는 멀티캐스팅이 가능한 Premium Network 구축을 통

하여 실시간 방송의 즉시시청은 달성하였으나, VOD 는 15초가 소요됨.

음성/영상/자막 동기화의 배속재생 불가로 서비스의 만족을 달성하지 못함.

언어학습 등 콘텐츠의 활용성 증대를 위하여 필요하지만, 고비용이 투

자된 Premium Network 에서도 VTR 수준의 건너뛰기 탐색 수준임.

음성/영상/자막 동기화의 실시간 탐색 불가로 서비스의 만족에 미달함.

DVD 플레이어의 죠그-셔틀 수준의 실시간 탐색이 요구되나, 고비용이 투

자된 Premium Network 에서도 VTR 수준의 건너뛰기 탐색 수준임.

항상 TV를 켜놓는 시청자의 잘못된 습관으로 동시접속수가 증가한다.

RTCP 란 : Real Time Control Protocol 로써, RTP 보다는 상위 계층의 UDP Layer 기반의 비 연결 프로토콜로써 클라이언트와 서버간의 멀티미디어 스트리밍에 대한 실시간 제어를 위한 방법에 대한 국제표준.
