Our Centres of Competences, Mapping and SW development, are continuously promoted to maximize its production capacity,

aiming to increase our sustainability as well as to rise our competitiveness. We see a consolidation of those CoC, reaffirming what

we saw during 2016, a sustained growth in our activities, in particular:

-CoC CARTO:

TPZ Group: Steadily growth since 2016, in project/production collaboration with other L.E. of our group. TPZ-IB role is not

only as subcontractor but as partner, providing a better efficiency in order to elaborate winner Proposals.

Europe: Orders coming from ESI organizations are new for TPZ-IB; we start moving towards a deeper involvement within

European programmes.

In terms of Order Intake, this CoC represents 1/3 of total GI LoB. In terms of production’s value, it doubles the output

within the budget plan [2017-2021].

TPZ Group and ESI represent 70% of the output for the CoC CARTO (export activities).

-CoC GIS:

Gas Natural Fenosa is our main client. A renewal of the current contract is foreseen in 2018, with similar orders and

revenues for the upcoming years. Telespazio has a long tradition on GIS for Utilities, working in Spain for clients like,

MRG, Agbar, Endesa, etc.

We are trying to increase our collaboration with TPZ Group to open up new opps in the near future.

In terms of Order Intake, it shows that this CoC share is about of one third of total GI LoB.

COPERNICUS LAND – OPERATIONAL SERVICES

Telespazio Ibérica is working for GAFAG in three projects of

Copernicus Local Land Services: Urban Atlas mapping validation

and Imperviousness validation.

• Urban Atlas mapping validation: The interpretation uses

the original polygon delineation of the SP and the sample

points. The classification has been removed to assess a

blind interpretation. The Task of the interpretation is to

classify the "empty" polygons by means of the

Interpretation guidelines, which are based on the original

Urban_Atlas_2006_mapping_guide_v3 guideline

EEA / Local Monitoring Services

Example of Urban Atlas validation using GafMAP software

• Riparian Zones: Land cover/Land use feature extraction

along European rivers (EU Hydro) using VHR satellite

ECUADOR - Radargrammetric DSM - DTM

TELESPAZIO IBERICA, in collaboration with e-Geos, performed:

Satellite imaging supply (two types): Radar satellite imagery (COSMO-SkyMed) and for full coverage of

the area Optical satellite imagery (Rapid Eye).

Digital Surface Model (DSM) elaborated by Radagrammetry (stereoscopic radar images combining

ascending and descending geometries). It includes elements such as buildings and vegetation.

Digital Terrain Model (DTM) of the test area, derivable from the DSM generated by radargrammetry.

Generation of orthorectified radar images (ORI).

Height Error Model (HEM): model with altimetric error estimated in the generation of DSM.

With the acquired products, IEE can develop its geodynamic Project by obtaining a precision DSM-DTM in areas

with adverse weather conditions (semi-permanent presence of cloud cover)

The research will make it possible to predict and reduce natural disasters caused by instability of hillsides,

water erosion, torrential floods, sedimentation and river overflow, including the DSM-DTM study in GIS

environment.

The IEE - Instituto Espacial Ecuatoriano, needs for its project Spatial and Geophysical Technology

applied for management of external geodynamic risks, prevention and mitigation of floods, a DSM-

DTM model, developed using Radargrammetry techniques, in a 518.08 km2 test area in the provinces

of Los Ríos and Bolivar.
