TelPlexus: QUALITY ENGINEERING SERVICES

TelPlexus: STATE-OF-THE-ART NAVIGATION, GPS AND GIS SERVICES

Working both regionally and nationally with telecommunications companies, TelPlexus, Inc. provides engineering services for hundreds of projects including long haul, FTTX, Digital Loop Carrier (DLC) design, soft switch migration, long range planning, and assistance with Rural Development Utilities Programs (RDUP), to name a few. TelPlexus also works on multiple Fiber-To-The-Home overbuilds and Greenfield projects.

In an effort to provide a design/build solution for our clients’ network and construction needs, TelPlexus has formed alliances with well-established and reputable construction firms. This allows us to provide Design/Build services to the Telecom and communications industry across the country.

To remain competitive in an increasingly deregulated environment, utility companies require state-of-the-art technology to effectively handle complex data. Geographic Information System (GIS) databases enable utilities to maintain and update large equipment inventories and to navigate existing assets for further analysis, preventative maintenance and/or upgrading.

TelPlexus’ Mapping and GIS Services can provide powerful GPS/GIS data capture capabilities for the utility industry. Using data collected with these systems, GIS managers can quickly create detailed maps, which are optimal for updating and maintaining complex equipment inventories, mapping prospective right-of-ways and corridor analysis. Data can be shared across a corporate environment to ensure that cost effective, informative, and timely decisions are made throughout the organization.

Benefits of Using GPS/GIS Applications:n Cities and counties locate and maintain sewers,

roads, signage, and public buildingsn Utilities locate, monitor, and maintain millions

of dollars on capital assetsn Municipal economies access accurate

information for buildings and tax codesn Network operators map prospective right-of-

ways and railway systems n Companies access accurate, consistent, real-

time position information kept with real-time kinematic (RTK) systems
